CSA...what is it?

Industrial farming and pesticide use in Japan in the 1960's alarmed so many communities that they responded by starting what is called "Community Supported Agriculture" (CSA). A community of people pay their local farmer(s) to grow for them. CSA's started in the USA in the 1980s, there are now over 12,500 farms participating; they are rapidly spreading throughout Europe with more than 1 million eaters enjoying food from their local farms through CSAs. Join our local CSA before the end of national #CSAWEEK (now until 2/26/22), and enter to win $100 of native plants from Go Native! perennials.
